Project Description
In 2022, Mystic, CT celebrated the 100th anniversary of the iconic Mystic River Bascule Bridge. This historic drawbridge, which connects the towns of Groton and Stonington, serves as both a vital passageway and a cherished symbol of the community. Given its significance, this milestone anniversary was an important event for the town.
We collaborated with the Mystic Chamber of Commerce to develop a comprehensive plan to honor this historic structure. From designing banners, flyers, and posters to creating informational center installations, custom pint glasses, and commemorative beer cans, I played a key role in producing a wide range of materials for the celebration. Seeing all these elements come together to promote and commemorate this special occasion was both rewarding and exciting.
